The latter therefore includes the possibility of purchasing large household appliances deductible from the Irpef tax or the 65% bonus for heat pumps, including some air conditioning (hot and cold),to use.

Among the most important contents of the decree, regarding household appliances, that furniture and refrigerators can be claimed an Irpef deduction of 50% of the cost of their purchase:

  •         for devices that require the following energy label: "finalizzati all'arredo dell'immobile oggetto di ristrutturazione".

All of this relates to houses being renovated,for one Maximum amount of 10,000 euros and divided into ten annual installments of equal amounts.

How to take advantage of discounts on household appliances?

Payments must be made by bank transfer, debit or credit card to receive discounts on furniture and major appliance purchases. On the other hand, it is not permitted to make payment by bank check, cash or other means of payment. As stipulated by the Tax Agency (Agenzie delle Entrate) in its Circular No. 7/2016, it is not necessary to collect the data provided by banks and Poste S.p.a. to use a specially prepared (taxable) bank transfer for the renovation of buildings when paying by bank or postal transfer.

Payment by credit or debit card

To pay by credit card, it is sufficient to complete the normal order with this payment method. The invoice must contain the personal details (including tax number) of the person on the building renovation file.

The payment date is the day the cardholder uses the card (as indicated on the transaction receipt) and not the day the account is debited.

DOCUMENTS TO BE RETAINED

  • receipt of the transaction
  • Documentation of the debit of the bank account
  • Invoices for the purchase of goods indicating the type, quality and quantity of goods and services purchased

Payment by bank transfer

Even when paying by bank transfer, the procedure is that of a simple online order. The invoice must contain the personal details (including tax number) of the person on the building renovation file. After placing the order, it is necessary to request a copy of the invoice from FeelDesign, by email or telephone contact, which will then be issued in advance.

The transfer must contain the following data:

  • Reason for payment currently enjoying tax privileges from banks and Poste Italiane for transfers related to renovation works;
  • Tax code of the recipient of the tax deduction;
  • VAT number or the tax number of the person in whose favor the transfer is made (found on the copy of the invoice);
  • the number of the order at FeelDesign.
