Materials and construction

A product in which the illuminating function becomes a pretext for creating an object with great personality, the famous Meltdown lamp by Johan Lindstén is offered in three variants: floor, table and pendant.

The floor structure has five or eight speakers, the table one has one, while the suspension is available in four variations: single, cluster with four speakers, cluster with eight speakers and linear with three speakers. In these lamps, the diffusers with their characteristic spherical shape are made of colored paste glass, mouth-blown into a mould. The palette includes the following colours: amber, pink, amethyst, and dove grey: in a pre-established mix of shades. The glass of the Meltdown lamps are unique pieces, the result of the ancient art of the master glassmakers. The intensity of the color is due to the craftsmanship and represents a value in the object.
