Features and functionality

Aiming to recreate HAY's iconic AAC chair from a more sustainable perspective; About A Chair AAC 12 ECO uses recycled plastic (PP) to form the open, gently curved shell and symmetrical solid base that is consistent with the rest of the series. The lack of armrests ensures a clean and tidy silhouette; while the shaped backrest offers optimal comfort. The wooden structure with elegant, rounded legs conveys warmth and character and ensures greater stability and greater durability. The recycled shell is available in eco black and the base is available in FSC certified solid oak with water-based lacquer.

Materials and construction
Solid color injection molded polypropylene shell without armrest. Made from 30% recycled PP and 70% virgin PP. 4-legged base in solid oak. Made from FSC™ certified wood and other controlled materials.
