Features and functionality

Aiming to recreate HAY's iconic AAC chair from a more sustainable perspective; About A Chair AAC 22 ECO uses recycled plastic (PP) to compose the functional simplicity that is characteristic of this entire series. The solid shell includes a curved backrest with armrests; which offers excellent comfort and a soft, unitary silhouette; while the four-legged wooden base adds a classic and timeless expression; ensuring greater stability and longer life. The recycled shell is available in eco black and the base is available in FSC certified oak with water-based lacquer.

Materials and construction
Shell in solid color injection molded polypropylene. Made from 30% recycled PP and 70% virgin PP. Base in shaped plywood. Internal beech plywood; floor. Made from FSC™ certified wood and other controlled materials.
