| The PK52A Student Desk was designed by Poul Kjærholm for the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts when he himself was part of the academic staff there. The expertly constructed table highlights Kjærholm's unmistakable ability to combine traditional craftsmanship and industrial design. The simple shape embodies the lightness and geometric elegance that Kjærholm became known for. His pioneering role in projects such as the PK52A Student Desk was instrumental in making Danish design famous throughout the world. The PK52A is also available in a larger version than the PK52 Professor Desk. Both desks can easily be used as dining tables; as their table tops are reversible.
