Square mirror in capitonné effect lacquered wood.

Materials and construction

Venice is perhaps the most marked example of how technique can end in sweetness, in refinement. The material is MDF, micro-embossed and laser-worked, which creates a capitonné effect and enlivens and softens, giving a rigid structure the appearance of a soft cushion. The colors vary from opaque white, to black, to beige, up to opaque champagne. A further version is now available, perhaps even more elegant and impactful: a Canaletto walnut, to give a classic tone to this extremely innovative program.
