Features and functionality
The luminaire emits 100% glare-free lighting. Poul Henningsen developed the PH 5 concept in 1958 as a complement to the well-known three-screen system. The device emits a downward light and a side light that illuminates it. In the PH 5 Classic, the red inner cone and a small blue reflector create a warmer light tone.

Materials and construction
.	Diffusers: Aluminium, Copper or Brass. Anti-glare disc: copper, brass or purple, blue, pink, green or red, aluminium. Fixing arms: White (for Copper and Brass), Purple (for Classic) or bronze colour, curved aluminium.
.	Finish: Polished brass and white, matt powder coated. Polished copper and white, matt powder coated. Classic (white) or Modern White, matt powder coated. Shades of blue, green, grey, orange, red, pink painted matt. PH 5 Mini Decorative suspensions
.	Mounting: Suspension type: cable. 2x0.75 mm². Rosette: included. Cable length: 3m.

Anti-glare purple disc for the Classic version and anti-glare blue disc for the orange one. Green anti-glare disc for red and pink. Anti-glare red disc for green and blue. Anti-glare pink disc for gray and modern white. Anti-glare copper disc for copper. Anti-glare brass disc for brass. Copper and brass surfaces have not been treated. Over time they may therefore change and develop a patina. This process may already be in place when the product is delivered.
