Features and functionality
The Drop chair draws inspiration from the sensation of a hug; but it was also designed for freedom of movement{ creating a unique sense of comfort. Designed by Arne Jacobsen; it was originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen before being relaunched in 2014. It is said to be Jacobsen's favorite chair among his many designs.

Materials and construction
The Drop chair is made of plastic with four chromed or powder-coated steel legs matching the shell. It also comes upholstered in a wide range of fabric and leather types. The upholstered chairs are available with chrome or black and white powder-coated legs.
