Features and functionality
The Series 7 chair is an icon in the history of modern furniture; designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955. Its unique shape is timeless and incredibly versatile; showing character without overwhelming the eye. The chair is made of 9 layers of pressure-molded veneer for strength; flexibility and durability despite its slim shape.
Materials and construction
The Series 7 chair is available in three different finishes: natural veneer; colored or lacquered ash. All chairs are made of pressure-shaped veneer. The body is also available in the front version or completely upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and types of leather. As well as a base with four legs; a swivel base and height-adjustable wheels are also available; as a counter stool or as a bar stool.
