Features and functionality
HAL KING Sledge; with sled base and recycled plastic shell; It is part of the multifaceted HAL chair family by Jasper Morrison. Its distinctive structure gives the chair excellent stability and an unmistakable character.

Materials and construction
Shell: mass-dyed recycled polypropylene. Base: chromed tubular steel sled base. Possibility of stacking up to 6 chairs on the floor and up to 13 chairs on a transport trolley. Also available with connecting elements in a row. the bases are equipped with carpet glides{ felt inserts available on request for rigid floors.

Vitra is a family-run design company headquartered in Birsfelden; in Switzerland. Founded by Willi Fehlbaum in 1953 after a trip to the United States; discovering the chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The management responsibilities were subsequently entrusted to the founder's children who; following a fire that destroyed production; took advantage of the opportunity to develop a new plan for the Vitra Factory Campus. In 2012 the Fehlbaum brothers in turn transferred the management of the company to the third generation of the family; represented by Nora Fehlbaum. Vitra makes a major contribution to sustainability by avoiding following short-term trends and forgoing non-essential details. For this reason the company sets out together with its collaborators in search of optimal solutions; placing attention on the durability and longevity of the products.
