Materials and construction

A thin sheet of suspended glass, an almost ethereal presence supported by aluminum clamps attached to steel tie rods. An essential shape: a rectangular screen whose central part is in sandblasted glass, to avoid glare. Velo is a project obtained by subtracting weight, material and shape, for an aesthetic result with rigorous stylistic unity. Glass diffuser, 3 mm thick, curved, hardened and sandblasted. Protection tube for halogen bulb in sandblasted borosilicate glass. Rosette and hooks in chromed die-cast aluminium. Polished brushed steel linkage.
