Designed by the Austrian trio EOOS for Carl Hansen & Søn; The Embrace E020 table is an elegant reinterpretation of a furniture classic created as part of the intelligent Embrace series. The design is made up of three components: a wooden base; a steel wire structure and a round top. The result is a distinctive sculptural work inspired by a kite blowing in the wind. To maximize the functionality and legroom of the table; the table legs have been moved towards the center. The circular table top is intended to promote communication; as the round shape and additional leg space invite social interaction. The wooden table top seems to almost float on the airy-looking structure; making the table perfectly suited to the Embrace chair and Embrace armchair. Designed by EOOS; the Embrace series combines the innovative design approach of the designer trio with the elegant craftsmanship and heritage of Carl Hansen & Søn
