Materials and construction
.	It was 1990 when the designer Rodolfo Dordoni proposed to Foscarini a cultured, elegant and creative reinterpretation of the classic lampshade.
.	From that meeting Lumiere was born. The first Lumiere then inspired the XXL and XXS versions, a reinterpretation of the original project.
.	Today Lumiere XXL and XXS presents itself in a new guise, with current colors combined with the new brushed aluminum or black chrome finishes for the frame. The new Lumiere XXL reading is also an expression of completely new research in proportions, dimensions and aesthetic language.
