. | Designed by Joe Colombo in 1965, the Spider series is composed of a single lighting body, conceived as a response to a special horizontal spot bulb, mounted, thanks to a melamine joint, on different supports (table/floor/wall/ceiling), setting the very concept of a "family" of lamps. |
. | In 1967 Spider won the first Compasso d'Oro for Oluce and, in 1972, he was in New York for the unforgettable exhibition "Italy: the New Domestic Landscape". |
. | It is also part of the permanent collections of the Triennale di Milano, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum in Düsseldorf, the "Neue Sammlung" Museum in Munich. |
