Used materials
Aluminum always considered a very precious metal, it is heavily used by Tonin Casa in its modern collections. The characteristics of the material allow for an extremely high quality product. Aluminum does not oxidize, lasts over time, is light and totally recyclable. This is why Tonin Casa creates all the mechanisms of the tables, and also other structures in aluminium, adopting different manufacturing processes, such as extrusion or die casting of aluminium.
Polycarbonate it is a technopolymer that stands out for its exceptional mechanical resistance. It is an extremely light material, easy to handle, which allows us to obtain elastic products that maintain their characteristics even under repetitive stress.
Laminate the laminate that Tonin Casa uses in its products is internationally called HPL (high press laminate). Unlike other lower quality laminates, HPL stands out for its exceptional characteristics of hardness, resistance to scratches, wear, water, chemicals, heat, steam and stains. This material does not contain asbestos, lead or other heavy metals but is made up of layers of kraft paper impregnated with thermosetting resins and several superficial layers of decorative paper impregnated with aminoplastic resins. The European standard EN 438-1:1991 seriously distinguishes high quality laminate with the acronym HPL .
Glass Thick float glass, 12 mm, worked with a polished edge. The tops are tempered according to UNI 12150-1:2001 to ensure greater safety and impact resistance.
