Features and functionality

The BK13 Swing sofa was designed in 1959 by Bodil Kjær as part of a series of superbly crafted and architecturally inspired furniture for indoor and outdoor use. As with the rest of the furniture in the series; the Danish architect drew inspiration from Cubism to create the precise and direct shape of the solid teak sofa. The Swing sofa is designed to withstand the elements. It is suspended from knotted ropes that provide a soothing rocking motion and offer superior comfort. The Swing sofa can be used both indoors and outdoors and; for easy hanging; can be fitted with an A-frame. Matching pads in weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric are also available
