Features and functionality

Arne Jacobsen first created the elegant and sinuous Lily chair for Danmarks Nationalbank. The Lily 3208 has angled armrests that accentuate the chair's wood grain and require expert craftsmanship. This model is the pinnacle of Arne Jacobsen's plywood designs and experiments with wood veneer. Its characteristic broad shoulders and slim waist are striking examples of Jacobsen exploring and challenging the possibilities of veneer to create perfect curves and provide maximum comfort.

Materials and construction
The Lily chair is available in two variants{ with or without armrests; walnut veneer or fully upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. All chairs are made of pressure-shaped veneer. The base is equipped with four legs in chromed steel tubes.
