Materials and construction

Floor lamp with direct light. Base in white Carrara marble. Telescopic stem in satin stainless steel. Adjustable and height-adjustable reflector in pressed, polished and zapped aluminium. Born from the ingenuity of the Castiglioni brothers and created by Flos, Arco is the first arc lamp in the history of design. It is a floor lamp, providing direct light, whose base is made up of a parallelepiped of white marble from which a metal structure rises, fixed to the marble via a guide dug into it and screw supports. The reflector is orientable and adjustable in height, made of pressed, polished and zapped aluminium. This iconic lamp brings a current and timeless aesthetic to the spaces in which it is inserted.
