Features and functionality
The symbol of a new era centered on plastic material: this is how the 1967 plia chair was received when it was presented at the Milan furniture fair. This particular version in Vienna straw further enriches the value of this made in Italy style icon.

Materials and construction

The Plia frame is composed of an oval tubular steel structure, which is chromed and assembled with the joints that fit inside the tubular. The three-way joint is a die-cast aluminum with steel inserts, this is one of the technical features that make Plia so visually light but at the same time resistant. Structure in chromed steel, joint in polished die-cast aluminium. Seat and backrest in transparent painted Vienna straw with frame and subframe in solid wood
